Our stay at PN Guesthouse was overall very good, nothing to complain about. Ratree arranged for a taxi to meet us at the airport which was nice since we arrived late and at that time I wasn't aware there was a very inexpensive airport bus to town which let all passengers out a few buildings up from the hotel. I think someone said around 100 baht per person but I may be wrong. The room and bathroom was clean. We ended up staying 5 days and our room was never offered to be cleaned. I asked for toilet paper when we needed it since wasn't left any daily. The gentleman who was at the hotel along with his teenage daughter and young son were the main people I interacted with. I believe he said his name was Pen and he understood our English and spoke pretty good English as well. He was extremely helpful and was nice enough to loan me 100 baht the night we arrived to get water and food at the 7-Eleven( is a 2 minute walk up the street) since at eateries closed and I had no more baht notes. He also helped us book a day excursion to Hong Island which was beautiful! On our final day he arranged our bus to our next destination. I met Ratree on our second to last night, she was in reception when I went downstairs. She introduced herself and was very nice. The night time young man was helpful as well and understood English. Pen's daughters English was hard to understand and she didn't normally understand us. Our room had a balcony and air conditioning which was nice because it was really hot in Krabi for New Years! This is no fault of the hotel but sleeping was hard since special festival going on across the street with live music on loud speakers the whole stay until 1 or sometimes 2am. Bed comfortable but we had to ask for an additional blanket as the one provided didn't even cover the entire full size mattress so unless you wanted to sleep on top of each other, it would be hard for 2 people to share the blanket. When using the AC at night it gets cold and we found you couldn't adjust the temperature or fan speed with the remote some nights. So after the room night when the temp was too warm and couldn't sleep we would adjust down the temp before bed or before couldn't make adjustments but then we would get too cold. There is a fan on the ceiling as well. There's only 1 plug in the room up high by the door. There is a TV with cable but maybe 2 or 3 stations that spoke English so we only watched TV once. Hotel within a 5 minute walk to town to eat or shop. A few minutes down from hotel we ate breakfast everyday at @First Eatery which is on the right side...
